Job Opening: Executive Director

The Urantia Book Fellowship, a faith-based nonprofit organization, is searching for a dynamic  Executive Director with significant management experience  to assist in fulfilling the mission and vision of the organization. We are seeking a candidate with strong organizational, leadership and communication skills who is able to lead teams of employees, contractors, and volunteers while working closely with the governing board. The Executive Director will oversee the daily operations including fundraising, marketing, fiscal management, program planning, project  implementation, and communicating about The Urantia Book Fellowship with our members and the community at large. 

Personal Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership, coaching and relationship management experience.

  • Minimum of a BA or BS and/or relevant business management experience. 

  • Strong work ethic with a high level of commitment.

  • Ability to partner with the board to develop a long term vision and strategic plan focused on The Urantia Book Fellowship’s growth; pilot new and existing initiatives; and adapt strategy as needed to meet these goals.

  • Excellent relationship building skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to act as a compelling advocate for the mission of The Urantia Book Fellowship.

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a multifaceted role.
