Diana (Reed) Malley, daughter of Russell & Mona Reed, graduated from this sphere to The Mansion Worlds on June 27, 2020 at the age of 78. She had struggled for about two years with stomach cancer, although she was able to remain at home with her husband, Keith, for most of that time. She passed peacefully at home with Keith at her side.

In addition to her husband, Keith, Diana is survived by their daughter Star O'Malley, son Lucas Malley, step-daughter Guinevere Malley, and her sister Marjory Ardis. Diana and Keith have three grandchildren:  Jordan, Elena and Mallory. Additionally they were guardians for Dylan Malley.

Diana was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years. She was beloved by her students. She firmly believed that her classroom must be a safe and accepting environment to enable children to learn and thrive. She went out of her way to identify any child who needed a boost in their self-esteem, often making them a "Short Teacher" by assigning helping tasks.

After retiring from teaching, Diana continued to use her educational skills by tutoring students at Sylvan Learning Center. Following that she worked at Family Resource Centers, helping families connect with essential services.

Diana was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was most comfortable sitting in her big recliner with one or two little ones on her lap, reading them stories. If no children were available, her dog Zoe substituted.

She loved the quiet homestead life: being surrounded by the big pine trees she called her Sentinels. In addition to the children, milk goats, chickens and gardening occupied her time away from the kitchen when she was younger. She was ever welcoming to stray cats and dogs.

Diana loved attending Urantia Conferences. She and Keith often saved their vacation time to coordinate with the triennial events. Although she was not a Urantia Book reader, per se, she enjoyed Keith's reading from The Life & Teachings of Jesus, and other selected passages throughout the book.

    Brother Joshua

Godspeed dear Diana on her way to mansion spheres Christ taught us about, saying "I go to prepare a place for you."  Diana with her husband Keith joined their voices in the Choir leading in praise at IC17 in Denver. I was thrilled to be with her singing "This little light of mine," and "I believe the promise."

It was such a blessing to be with Diana. We will continue the song later, soon, on high.
