Celebrating the Birth of the Forum on February 11, 1923:

Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the First Meeting of the Forum

First Society for Readers of The Urantia Book will be

hosting the 2023 Midwest Conference. This conference

celebrates the role of the Forum, established on

February 11, 1923, in the revelatory process and

publication of The Urantia Book. It explores the origin

and history of a unique group of individuals who met

weekly as members of the Forum to listen to and

discuss the newly revealed material. Their dedication

and loyalty to the Urantia Project enabled them to

support the revelators in the creation of an epochal

revelation which would be understandable by the

human mind.

In 1955, Urantia Brotherhood was established and

in 1956 First Urantia Society was installed. Many of

those participating in the Forum became the original

members of First Urantia Society, ending their days of

service in the Forum.

Our Conference Chair, Emily Deam, President of

First Society, is pleased to share the tentative program

for the conference, included on the next page.

Please join us to celebrate!
